Sevilla is on the brink of closing the deal for the transfer of two of its academy players. The first, Antonio Luna, is off to Aston Villa for €1.9 million. The left back is to go to Birmingham on Wednesday for the medical, signing for the team on Thursday.
The other deal close to being sealed is that of Luis Alberto. The Spanish player has interrupted his holiday in Punta Cana and will travel to Liverpool for his medical examination. The move is for €7.5 million plus another €1 million in easily achievable bonuses. Sevilla will also retain a percentage of the player's future earnings.
Sevilla is therefore set to collect almost €10½ million for its two academy players.
