David Luiz: "I want to play against Spain, I like big challenges"

David Luiz has no hesitation in describing Spain as "the best national team right now" and has said that the whole Brazilian squad is eager to go up against 'La Roja' in the Confederations Cup: "I think we all want to play against Spain. Especially me, I'd love to play them".
The Chelsea centre-back has high praise for Spain's style of play: "The Spanish national side is on top form. It plays a mature, stylish, brilliant game…It has great players, a lot of individuals. It really is a fantastic team".
David Luiz also talked about the demonstrations currently taking place around Brazil: "The footballers are not removed from everything that's going on. We understand perfectly how the people feel and I hope that together we can make a better Brazil because we're a very strong country".
On Brazil's forthcoming competition tie against Mexico, the Chelsea defender noted: "It's a really tough team to beat and we know they're going to make things very difficult for us. It's a very important game for us because a win could take us through to the next round".
