Villa nab Hel boy

PAUL LAMBERT has tipped 6ft 5in hitman Nicklas Helenius to grow up fast at Aston Villa.

The Aalborg BK striker, 22, became Lambo’s fourth summer buy yesterday when he signed for £1.2million.
That’s seen as a bargain in Denmark for last year’s Superliga Player of the Season and was only possible because the hitman is in the final year of his contract.
Lambert — who has already landed Bulgarian midfielder Aleksandar Tonev, Dutch midfielder Leandro Bacuna and Danish stopper Jores Okore — has tipped Helenius to become a huge hit.
The Villa boss said: “Nicklas is a young lad but he is also a full international with a good goalscoring record. He will prove himself in the Premier League.
“The potential is there for him to grow into the team and grow with the team.”
Helenius scored 16 goals in 33 league games for Aalborg last season and the twice-capped Danish international admits he can’t wait to team up with Christian Benteke — the man many Villa fans fear he was brought in to replace.
The Belgian striker is on holiday and has yet to sign a new, improved contract.
The Dane admitted: “Anyone can see the quality of Christian. It’s really exciting to be part of this.”
Villa fans will not have long to wait for another signing as Spanish side Sevilla have confirmed they have agreed a £2million deal for left-back Antonio Luna.
