Higuaín announced his intention to leave Real Madrid after the final league game of the season and 23 days later the Argentine is still waiting for his club to accept one of the offers from the two clubs interested in signing him: Juventus and Arsenal.
The player's father, Jorge Higuaín has no doubts: "Real Madrid will make the final decision. Nothing has been signed yet, but I can assure you that an agreement with both Arsenal and Juventus has almost been reached," he told 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.
Real Madrid still insists that the striker will not leave for less that €30m. "No deal will be signed until one of the interested clubs reaches an agreement with Real Madrid. I'm sure that both Arsenal and Juventus will table serious bids."
Once Ancelotti takes control of the first team, Real Madrid will make its final decision regarding Higuaín's future.
